The President of our company, Thomas E. Lippincott founded a company known as WOODTEC in 1976. He remained the President, Engineering Manager, and Owner of WOODTEC until 1990.  In 1990 he sold WOODTEC, but remained with the company as Vice President and Engineering Manager until 1995.

During his time with WOODTEC, the company designed, fabricated, and installed close to 200 treating plants in the United States. Tom oversaw the design and personally started up of each of these treating plants.

In 1997, the American Wood Preservers Association conducted a survey of the wood treating plants in the United States. This surveyed showed that 445 treating plants were operating in the United States. Of those, roughly 48% were built by WOODTEC!
In 1995, Tom decided to leave WOODTEC and begin another company, Tank Fab Inc.

Tank Fab’s core business is turn-key autoclave systems. As WOODTEC, Tom’s company sold these systems exclusively to the wood treating industry. Upon forming Tank Fab, one of Tom’s visions was to diversify by implementing the use of our autoclave systems into other industries. Today, our systems are used in the wood treating, rubber, and concrete industries.

Tank Fab’s primary focus is to help customer’s increase production and reduce costs through the use of specialized equipment.
